PhotoSoc Annual Exhibition 2025

The University of Edinburgh Photography Society is thrilled to announce their annual exhibition at the Sciennes Gallery in Summerhall.

The society, founded in 1890, has more than a century of cultivating and promoting student photography. This exhibition highlights some of the most impressive student photography from the University of Edinburgh, displaying almost 150 photos.

Alongside some highlights from their weekly spotlight, the showcase includes over thirty photographers as winners and honourable mentions of six competitions over the last year.

The exhibition will also feature a special section highlighting the work of their darkroom in the last year, personally developed and printed by their darkroom staff and members. The exhibition will open on the evening of the 25th and will be available to the public all day on the 26th and 27th.
