Summerhall Arts Studio (Summer)
Summerhall Arts Studios are intended for performative artists and creatives with work in early development that needs further work. The Studios are intended to be safe spaces for creation, experimentation and play with a peer-to-peer or industry sharing at the end. There will be two Studios a year (Summer and Winter)
The Summerhall Arts Studio includes:
- A £3000 budget
- A dedicated creative space in Tech Cube Zero for 5 days
- If the Anatomy Lecture Theatre is a more suitable space for your work, you may request to use it instead of Tech Cube Zero.
- Venue specifications available on request.
- Technical support
- Access to the Summerhall Arts team for creative advice
- An end-of-residency peer-to-peer or industry sharing
This opportunity is ideal for artists or groups with a clear creative concept that would benefit from production/technical exploration and early audience engagement.
Additional Information
Artists must sign an agreement acknowledging our code of conduct, which includes taking care of the space.
